The Internal Sustainability Coordinator will help drive our Maritz sustainability initiatives focusing on carbon accounting reporting target setting and internal education. This role is essential for advancing our environmental goals and ensuring compliance with sustainability standards.Primary Responsibilities
30 Reporting: Support the preparation and submission of sustainability reports for Ecovadis CDP and SAQ.
30 Internal Education: Assist in launching and managing our internal education program Eco Edge. Develop engaging content and activities to promote sustainability awareness among employees.
20 Carbon Accounting: Assist in collecting and managing data for carbon accounting using our platform Persefoni. Ensure accurate data entry and regular updates to maintain data integrity. Utilize templates and checklists to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
20 Project Coordination: Support the Maritz Environmental Strategy team on multiple projects that include working on special projects helping with budgeting discussions working on internal Maritz Sustainability Work etc
Qualifications
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective collaboration
2. Strong analytical and data management skills.
3. Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
4. Genuinely interested in and passionate about deepening knowledge of environmental sustainability and supporting Maritz in achieving our sustainability goals
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and related tools.
6. Strong project management skills with the ability to plan execute and monitor tasks effectively.
7. Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
8. Highly organized capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
