We are seeking an organized detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Insurance this role you will play a critical part in supporting our trucking and logistics operations by coordinating insurance documentation ensuring accurate record-keeping and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners. This is a remote position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced process-driven environment and values compliance and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities Insurance Documentation Management
- Request review and track insurance certificates and related documents from clients vendors and partners.
- Maintain up-to-date insurance records within the CRM and compliance databases ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times.
- Monitor expiration dates and proactively reach out to stakeholders for renewals or updates of insurance certifications.
- Communicate professionally with all parties to resolve documentation issues and provide clarification regarding insurance requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to support onboarding compliance checks and risk management processes.
- Prepare reports on insurance status and compliance for leadership review.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and in accordance with legal and company guidelines.
Required Qualifications Insurance Coordinator Role
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in insurance coordination compliance administration or a related office environment.
- Familiarity with insurance requirements in the trucking or logistics industry preferred.
- Experience using CRM or document management software (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) is an advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities comfortable explaining insurance requirements to a variety of stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving approach with a focus on timely follow-up and resolution.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training or certification in insurance compliance or office administration is a plus.
