Job Description
Pay: $17.95 per hour
Facility name:Tongue Point Job Corps Center
Location: Astoria OR
Work schedule: Varies with some overtime possibilities.

Job responsibilities: This position is responsible for the preparation of all center meals in accordance with preplanned menus in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
- Assist in instructing cook helpers and workbased learning students in the safe hygienic method of preparing and serving appetizing eyeappealing meals.
- Maintain kitchen equipment in orderly workable condition and ensure the work area is safe clean and sanitary at all times.
- Promote and support positive customer service through the facility.
- Participate and promote student employability programs and activities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- HSD or equivalent
- Food service training and One 1 year experience as a food handler.
- Must possess a current ServSafe (Food Handler) Certification.
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving records unless waived by management.
