Our client a leader in the recycling industry is looking for an experienced Finance & Management Accountant to join their team on a 10month contract in Epping.
This role is perfect for a finance professional who thrives in financial reporting compliance and controls within a fastpaced environment.
The successful incumbent will help to ensure timely and accurate review and preparation of management accounts and reports for the management team.

What Were Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting
At least 5 years experience in accounting and finance preferably from a manufacturing or operations background
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in JD Edwards and Microsoft Office (Excel pivot tables and models)
Strong knowledge of VAT Tax IFRS and financial compliance
Ability to engage with employees at all levels
Willingness to work overtime and weekends during monthend
Key Responsibilities
Prepare management accounts and financial reports
Ensure financial controls and compliance with policies and regulations
Maintain the integrity of the financial system
Manage and lead finance staff
Resolve reconciling items on debtors and creditors
Oversee stock procedures and expense approvals
Assist in budgeting forecasting and capex applications
Manage monthend and yearend accounting processes
Oversee payments for waste and trade creditors
Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures
Support financial yearend and external/internal audits meeting all deadlines
Salary: R35k R39k PM based on background and experience
