Ensuring Charts Success

Assists the Quality Director in the planning coordination and direction of the quality program designed to ensure quality control and quality assurance of the production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through team members.

What Your DaytoDay Activities Will Be

• Plans and oversees the analysis inspection design test and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
• Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.
• Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
• Directs employees engaged in quality planning inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials facilities processes and products.
• Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards.
• Designs and implements quality training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Your Education Should Be

• Education: Bachelors degree; and six months to oneyear related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; OSI Manufacturing software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Your Professional Experience Should Be

• Experience: Six months to oneyear related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
