Imagine being at the forefront of innovation as an Electrical Integration Engineer where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to design and develop cuttingedge electrical components and systems. Youll be an integral part of the dynamic Resource Industries Operations & Products Division working on some of the most impressive machinery in the industry including Large Wheel Loaders Wheel Tractor Sers and OffHighway Trucks.

Your role will be pivotal in supporting the electrical installation of autonomous systems pushing the boundaries of technology. Youll collaborate with talented global teams providing technical guidance and sharing your expertise. Troubleshooting and resolving electrical system issues will be your playground ensuring everything runs smoothly. From the initial concept to field follow and final implementation into production youll be involved in every step of the design process making a tangible impact on the future of industrial machinery.

Additionally you will have the exciting responsibility of presenting your work and progress to leadership showcasing your innovative solutions and the impact of your contributions.


What you will do:

  • Design new components and systems for the electrical integration on Large Wheel Loaders Wheel Tractor Sers and OffHighway Trucks
  • Responsible for the design cost quality validation and schedule
  • Communicate/collaborate with customers suppliers team members and other business units
  • Research and develop new technology
  • Developing and documenting functional design requirements.
  • Perform electrical load analysis and initiate discussions with system partners
  • Organizing coordinating and executing the building testing and analysis of prototypes.
  • Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance.

Degree required: Bachelors degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum.

Top Candidates will also have:

  • Experience designing harness/cables installation
  • Experience in electrical schematic design (preferably Creo Schematic).

What skills you will have:

ComputerAided Design & Engineering: Experience with Creo Vis View and Teamcenter experience.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
Managing Multiple Priorities: Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design build and develop a new product technology or service from concept through to production.

Effective Communications: Ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas and information

Additional Information:

This position requires the candidate to work fulltime at the Decatur IL

Domestic relocation assistance is available.

This position may require 10 travel.

Summary Pay Range:

$110520.00 $165840.00
