Facilities Manager

Job Title: Facilities Manager reports to the President

Salaried Nonexempt

Terms of Employment: 235 days Monday through Friday 8 am 4 pm events and weekends as needed

July 1st June 30th

General Summary of Position: The Facilities Manager oversees building operations and services including the school buses and vans. The Facilities Manager provides support to ensure the school operates safely economically and efficiently. Supports staff and classrooms.

Qualifications

  • Aligned with the mission of Notre Dame of Dallas Schools believing that everyone is created in Gods image
  • Displays the mission of the school in the work and interactions with students families and larger community
  • Bachelors degree preferred and experience in building and facilities
  • Drivers License with clean driving record required
  • Excellent time management and selfstarter
  • Ability to work well with a variety of constituents
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills analytical capabilities and problemsolving
  • Support and troubleshoot technology across campus
  • Commercial Drivers License (Class A or B) preferred
  • CMMS and building automation system experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred

Essential Job Functions include but not limited to

  • Oversee building and grounds maintenance at Notre Dame Campus
  • Oversee light facility work STAR satellite campus
  • Maintain working relations with all building occupants
  • Build security entry cards keys fobs uphold and maintain Safe Environment
  • Assure all annual inspections including vehicles HVAC elevator are scheduled and completed
  • Responsible for IT infrastructure and IT contractor oversight
  • Respond to work orders in a timely manner
  • Responsible for monitoring alarm systems
  • Inspect grounds building and equipment consistently
  • Supervise custodial staff
  • Prepare common spaces for meetings school events
  • Maintain vendor relationships
  • Perform Facility Plan for equipment preventative maintenance budgeting and replacements
  • Implement the 12month calendar of service and maintenance
  • Perform environmental hazard management and planning remediation
  • Assist President in reviewing and implementing Crisis Management and Continuity Plan
  • Maintain school vehicles and set schedule for maintenance and registration
  • Overall a heart of service who finds joy in supporting students and teachers
  • Takes great pride in a highfunctioning clean happy campus

Facilities Manager is on a 12month calendar. Hours may be adjusted when school is on vacation.
