Position Summary
This program is an 11week fulltime opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking development and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future fulltime roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a postgraduation role.
The summer internship program is from May 28 August 8 2025.
CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday) hybrid work model providing officebased colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home office or another location of your choice.
Our office locations for this role will be Woonsocket RI and Scottsdale AZ. A housing stipend may be provided based on eligibility and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $23.00 per hour with 40 hours/ week no work on July 4th (company holiday) and two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed below.

Our organization Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness (PCW) Technology and Digital supports various experiences across Consumer Health & Wellness and Omnichannel Pharmacy. We are committed to an experiencefirst approach to capability design that drives proactive product innovation by improving efficiency allowing for continuous improvement and supporting endtoend delivery.
What you will do
Our team facilitates Our team Omnichannel Rx & Modernization Order Placement & Fulfillmentteam oversees experiences including prescriber tools & workflow inbound IVR patient intent and triage prescription fulfillment activities digital pharmacy cart fulfillment & checkout internal transfers consumer order notifications order history and Central Fill capabilities. One opportunity for this intern is to support Android Development.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Optional Practical Training (OPT) and F1 Visa programs.
Required Qualifications
- Meet educational requirements (see Education section)
- Experience with Android
- Experience with HTML
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with Angular/React
- Experience with Java or Backend
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities sports or school or workrelated projects
- Experience leading a school or workrelated project
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Internship or work experience in related field
- Have an interest in obtaining a fulltime position within CVS Health
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence an audience of their peers
- Experience encouraging teamwork and a positive environment to improve team effectiveness
- Experience being resourceful and quickly and successfully adapting to change
Education
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026
- Preferred majors include Software Engineering Mobile App Development Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering
