The Senior Principal Engineer is part of the hierarchical organization reporting directly to the Team Manager as a direct discipline superior. The Senior Principal Engineer is should have a strong ability in technical matters with profound knowledge of applicable Engineering principles and processes with an emphasis on safe compliant reliable efficient and practical solutions required for the engineering design and of proposals and projects.
This role acts as the discipline lead engineer for various proposals and projects and is responsible to deliver the work within contractual framework quality and schedule and overall cost effectiveness in order to meet the overall project desired results.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementingindustryleading engineering practices workflows and procedures.
- Participating in project reviewsand ensuring workflows are efficient.
- Providing expert advice and recommendationsto subject matter experts (SMEs) and project management teams.
- Setting key performance indicators (KPIs)and benchmarks for accurate project estimations.
- Continuously improvingengineering practices based on datadriven insights.
- Solving complex engineering problemswith innovative solutions.
- Leading training programsfor designers engineers and senior engineers within your discipline.
- Staying current on industry trendsby attending professional meetings and conferences.
Project :
- Ensuring project compliancewith all technical and contractual requirements.
- Delivering highquality engineering designson time and within budget.
- Managing project scope schedule and budgeteffectively.
- Coordinating interdisciplinary reviewsand vendor deliverables.
- Implementing safety protocolsthroughout the project lifecycle.
- Integrating lessons learnedfrom previous projects to improve future outcomes.
- Managing technical procurement activitiesfor various equipment types.
- Reviewing and approving vendor documentsfor your discipline.
- Providing technical supportduring site inspections.
- Performing manhour calculationsusing specialized engineering tools.
Technical Community:
- Participating in disciplinespecific technical communities.
- Contributing to the development of technical standards specifications and design criteria.
- Continuously expanding your knowledgethrough seminars training and project experience.

Education
- MTech /ME BTech / BE Chemical
- Discipline: Chemical Engineering
Experience:
- 8 yrs experience in cryogenic engineering environment.
- Experience in EPC or Detail design engineering company in the engineering discipline for of projects in various sectors like Oil & Gas Energy Refining Petrochemicals.
