Responsibilities
- Project : Assist in optimizing all elements of the finance organization including finance assessment target operating model definition business process improvement enterprise transformation and finance technology enablement and deployment.
- Finance Function Expertise: Demonstrate an understanding of finance and accounting functions and the people processes and technology components that support them such as Procure to Pay Order to Cash Source to Report Acquire to Retire and Forecasting & Planning.
- Quality Delivery: Deliver highquality work within expected timeframes scope budgets and client expectations.
- Digital Delivery: Leveraging digital skillsets e.g. experience with visualization tools like PowerBI Tableau as well as automation technologies such as Alteryx continue to focus on modernizing our service delivery model within Management Consulting through the digitization of our service offerings.
- Project Monitoring: Assist with the monitoring of project progress management of risk and ensure project teams and clients are informed about key milestones engagement progress and expected outcomes.
- Business Development: Participate in internal and external business development activities and networking.
- CrossSelling: Understand firm capabilities across lines of business to identify crossselling opportunities.
- Industry Research: Identify industry focus areas assist with industry research and support prospect and existing client targeting activities.
- Project : Contribute to the of individual projects to completion identifying opportunities and solutions to client challenges.
- Service Development: Assist in developing new service offerings innovative solutions and deliverables for the rapidly changing finance environment and market.
- Mentorship: Effectively manage coach and develop junior resource s and peers by providing timely and actionable feedback as well as recruitment and retention efforts.
- Communication: Communicate effectively both internally and externally with client employees Csuite executives and/or private equity partners to develop and foster client relationships.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Technology or other related discipline from accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a large organization professional services firm or CPA firm.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge in advising Finance organizations on the above business processes.
- Experience in at least one of the following focus areas:
- Finance Transformation
- Business Process Improvement
- Shared Services
- Technology Enablement
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex business problems through fact gathering business process mapping and data analysis.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced everevolving work environment and deal effectively with ambiguity.
- Must be a team player; demonstrate attention to detail and problemsolving skills; able to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel > 50 domestically and internationally.
- Proficiency in MS Word MS PowerPoint MS Project MS Visio MS Teams MS Outlook OneDrive LucidCharts Smartsheet
Preferred Qualifications:
- Functional understanding of financial systems business processes and concepts in process redesign
- Digital experience and skillsets with enabling tools such as PowerBI Alteryx SQL Server VBA Python etc.
- Experience developing and delivering proposals to include scope approach timeline team structure and fees.
- Experience serving clients across multiple industries.
- Depth of experience in specific industries and sectors specifically TMT (Technology SaaS Media) Real Estate and Construction Manufacturing Insurance and Banking
- Industry or professional focused certification (Six Sigma / PMP / CPA a plus)
- MBA or other equivalent or relevant graduate degree

At RSM an employees pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to education skills work experience certifications location etc. As such pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $77500 $124000Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
