Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens Opportunity in Illinois
Assignment Details:
Census is 15 to 20 patients in the ER per 24 hours
8a8p or 8p8a
No fast track in the ER
Template chart system (Modified T System Written charts on templates)
EM boarded with experience and knowledge in Peds preferred
BC or BE
Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS or APLS
Backup specialties: General Surgery Pediatrics

23 Acute Bed Hospital
Trauma Level: Critical Access Hospital / Referred Hospital
Annual Volume: 6600
Physician Patient per hour ratio: 15 to 20 patients in the ER per 24 hours
Shifts: 7 days a week 8a8p OR 8p8a) need locums sporadically Friday Saturday Sunday 8a8p OR 8p8a)
80 adults / 20 pediatric
No fast track in the ER
Template chart system (Modified T System Written charts on templates)
5 ER beds approximately 20 admitted 8 transferred
Prefer EM boarded with experience and knowledge in Pediatrics
Board Certified OR Board Eligible
OSF Holy Family will provide housing
Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS or APLS
EM physicians responds to house codes
Backup Specialties: General Surgery Pediatrics
Availability of CT Labs MRI Ultrasound CathLab:
CT and Lab available 24/7 MRI and Ultrasound by appointment only No CathLab
EM locums only work in the ER. ER and Clinic are separate but are in the same building.
Clinic is open 7 days a week from 7a8p. Clinics annual volume is 45000.
