We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing guidance support and mentorship to young individuals contributing to their personal and social development.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with youth through mentorship and counselling.
- Develop and implement engaging programs and activities that promote skillbuilding leadership and personal growth.
- Collaborate with schools community organizations and stakeholders to enhance resources and support for youth.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of young individuals within the community.
- Provide educational resources and conduct training sessions on relevant topics.
- Respond to crisis situations offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions assessments and program outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to youth development.
- Managing potential behaviors of concern.
Qualifications:
- Certificate 4 or higher in Child/Youth and Family Intervention or related fields.
- Previous experience working with youth is preferred.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of community resources and social services.
- Empathy patience and a genuine interest in promoting positive youth development.
- Experience with working with people with disabilities.
- An Australian drivers licenseis required.
