We are looking for a Lifecycle Services Sr Engineer/Asst. Manager with a broad experience within process industry and automation projects to cover the following categories: Implementing Service Contracts of Ovation Control System and Industrial Software Solutions. Reporting to the Service Leader you will look after all Service activities of designated install base customers covering Southern region and Sri Lanka to achieve the agreed sales revenue for the designated product lines and solutions. In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Functional Expertise
- Hold detailed knowledge of DCS PLC Asset Management system RTU SCADA and having prior knowledge of Service/ Installation & Commissioning.
- Power plant automation concepts and appropriate interpretation of requirements
- Owning of Induvial booking /Regions POR/ Target.
- Responsible for Installed Base Sales (KOB 3 for Southern Region. Achieve budgets for KOB3 incremental Business.
- Fostering a Think Customer culture;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to drive customer satisfaction.
- Preparing optimum techno commercial quote for renewal of Sure Service contracts in consultation with Sales and proposal team; within defined period
Business
- Actively engage with the IBS sales team to target existing customers with various solution offerings like Evergreen Programs Upgradation/Migration and Expansion leads/pursuits. Work closely with Regions Leadership.
Interpersonal
- Ensure effective communication with customers employees and internal teams
- Work ethically in compliance with Emerson standards.
- Should be able to work independently.
- Work as an individual contributor and as a team member and gel with the existing team
- Technical presentations and Demos at customer locations

For This Role You Will Need:
- A Bachelors degree in Instrumentation & control Engineering
- A minimum 0508 years of relevant work experience in Lifecycle Service at install base customers development & engagement with strong experience of working & customer engagements in the entire region.
- Excellent knowledge of at least one Distributed Control System. Hands on Experience of Commissioning Maintenance troubleshooting on OVATION DCS will be an added advantage.
- Earlier experience in dealing with power plant customers is a plus;
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance contracts on DCS / PLC and validated experience in handling customer relationships.
- Understanding of customer need and translating it into technical solution.
- Analytical problem solver with excellent Communication presentation interpersonal and prioritization skills; wellorganized and detail oriented.
- Excels at selfmanaging workload and implementing multiple concurrent projects to meet achievements.
- Ability to optimally interact with all levels of the organization to meet landmarks.
- Ability to deal with conflicting priorities from internal collaborators and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills to handle these optimally.
- Confidence and interpersonal/communication skills to work and influence at all levels.
- Exposure of working in matrix organization.
- Proficient in PC skills and application software like MS Word Excel PowerPoint Visio etc.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal);
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (more than 60 of the time) or other service locations in the country/region as required.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
