Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with urological conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Perform urological procedures and surgeries including minimally invasive techniques.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds CT scans and urodynamic studies.
- Manage chronic urological conditions including prostate cancer kidney stones urinary incontinence and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care including patient education on selfcare and recovery.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals including nurses radiologists and oncologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses treatment options and procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to optimize patient outcomes.
Clinical Research and Education:
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to advancements in urological care.
- Stay current with the latest research techniques and advancements in urology.
- Educate and mentor medical residents fellows and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Education:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Training:Completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Urology.
- Board Certification:Boardcertified or boardeligible in Urology.
- Experience:2 years of experience in urology preferred. New graduates with exceptional training will be considered.
- Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills strong clinical and diagnostic skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in performing Urological procedures and surgeries.
