Role Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and examinations of patients with urological conditions.
- Diagnose urological diseases and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform surgical procedures related to urology including minimally invasive techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and resources to patients regarding urological health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct clinical research to stay abreast of advancements in urological treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Consult with other specialists as needed to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in medical staff meetings and continue education programs.
- Address any patient concerns and provide compassionate support.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior staff and residents.
- Stay informed about new technologies and techniques in urology.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage urological emergencies effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized university.
- Specialization in Urology (MCH in Urology).
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in urology.
- Proven experience in surgical procedures related to urology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional patient management skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and techniques in urology.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.
