JOB TITLE: ProfessionalSystem Engineer
REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker
JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St. Dallas TX 75202 and various work locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home
DUTIES: Work closely with business stakeholders development and system architecture teams during PI Planning/Grooming sessions to understand upcoming project requirements identify the high priority scenarios for endtoend validation and coordinates the testing efforts. Support quality assurance and test architecture responsibilities for major projects validating critical customer flows in the online digital space. Design and implement test plans and strategies working with Release Management teams for release scope writing and executing test cases. Create test data requests for scenarios needed for test working with data team per the planned environment schedules. Identify and create defects and managing them through final resolution working with multiple teams as needed. Utilize test automation strategies to enhance test and coverage. Analyze test results and metrics prepares and presents test status reports on a regular basis utilizing test management tools. Communicate progress proactively and regularly using available tools and strategies (scheduled and ad hoc meetings formal jeopardies escalations daily/weekly progress reports defect metrics collections). Engage with impacted teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from project initiation to final production validation. Employ automation testing tools and strategy as well as test planning test case design and for largescale projects within integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoint APIs microservices email/SMS communications file feeds UI components. Utilize SCRUM / Agile DevOps methodology E2E/integration progression and regression testing with focus on e commerce order processing and backend validation. Work with mobile application testing for iOS and Android. Utilize multitier web application architecture and microservice technologies. Write basic SQL/NOSQL queries for databases.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and three 3 years of experience in the job offered or three 3 years of experience in a related occupation employing automation testing tools and strategy as well as test planning test case design and for largescale projects within integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints (APIs microservices email/SMS communications file feeds UI components); utilizing SCRUM / Agile DevOps methodology E2E/integration progression and regression testing with focus on e commerce order processing and backend validation; working with mobile application testing for iOS and Android; utilizing multitier web application architecture and microservice technologies; and writing basic SQL/NOSQL queries for databases.
