Exciting Opportunity: Recovery Coordinator

Are you experienced skilled and passionate about making a meaningful difference We are recruiting for a Recovery Coordinator to join our Barnet service to engage and assess our service users ensuring they receive timely personalised interventions that cater to their unique needs.

Where: Barnet

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Full time Salary Range: 27861..35 dependent on experience (based on full time hours pro rata for part time hours)

Allowance: 2195.72 Outer London Weighting pro rata for part time hours

Responsibilities

Heres what youll be doing:

As a valued member of our team in Barnet youll be taking on a central role with responsibilities including:

  • Offering support to service users from the point of entry into the service throughout their treatment journey.
  • Conducting screening assessment and developing recovery plans with onward referrals.
  • Minimising harm related to drug and alcohol use for both the individual and the wider community.
  • Advocating access to partnership services.
  • Collaborating with each individual to facilitate social (re)integration empowering them to lead meaningful lives emphasising recovery resilience peer support and selfdetermination.

Now lets talk about you. Heres what were looking for:

To thrive in this role were looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of substance misuse issues and has experience in this or a related field.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills both verbal and written coupled with proficient IT skills.
  • Takes a proactive approach working well independently with strong time management and ability to prioritise work.
  • Holds a good working knowledge of mental health interventions services and best practices.
  • Is a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills capable of working collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals agencies and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Can successfully manage change while prioritising the needs of those who use our service.
  • Actively seeks learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills contributing to the learning and development of others.
