Job Description

Chief Nursing Officer

Are you looking to become part of a diverse company that is dedicated to its patients their families and the community On Time Talent Solutions is looking for an experienced nurse leader. As the Chief Nursing Officer you will provide vision and strategic direction for nursing operations.
Chief Nursing Officer Responsibilities:
  • Manages and oversees nursing operations including design and implementation of nursing roles work processes and work flows to improve effectiveness and efficiency and support System and goals
  • Directs nursing administration and centralized staffing including planning budget and personnel management policy development/implementation and consultation with staff and senior management to ensure achievement of educational and recruitment goals for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provides leadership and direction on strategies to promote retention and recognition of excellence in nursing including oversight and recommendations regarding compensation and benefit programs for nursing staff
  • Oversees planning and provision of continuing education role specific competencies and staff development to nursing staff. Implements clinical education requirements for nursing staff. Maintains professional development activities to keep registered nursing practice up to date on industry trends.
  • Develops and implements nursing engagement and retention plan to achieve nursing retention goals.
  • Sets strategic goals and metrics for patient care and provide input on investments in new and existing lines of business/services
Chief Nursing Officer Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree in Nursing with a Masters degree in Business Administration required.
  • Minimum ten or more years of progressive experience in nursing and patient care management
