Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Production Officer to join the dynamic team at Axaltas state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Savli Vadodara. The successful candidate will be on the payroll of Randstad India and will be responsible for overseeing and managing production processes to ensure efficiency quality and safety standards are consistently met. This role is critical in the manufacturing of high-performance coatings and requires a hands-on approach to production management.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Supervision: Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor ensuring adherence to the production schedule and output targets.
Process Management: Monitor and control manufacturing processes to maintain product quality and consistency as per Axaltas global standards.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Control department to ensure raw materials and finished products meet stringent quality specifications. Implement and monitor in-process quality checks.
Safety and Compliance: Enforce and promote a culture of safety ensuring all production activities comply with company and statutory health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of operators and technicians providing guidance training and support to optimize performance.
Resource Management: Manage the allocation of manpower machinery and materials effectively to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records including batch manufacturing records and prepare regular reports on production output downtime and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency reduce costs and improve product quality.
