TOUR ADMINISTRATOR
Atlas Gardens Contermanskloof Rd

We are seeking a highly organized and detailorientedTour Administrator at my clients offices in Atlas Gardens on the Contermanskloof Road near Durbanville. This role requires excellent communication skills the ability to work independently and a strong understanding of the tourism industry.

Duties & Responsibilities



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tour Operations Management
  • Coordinate Tour Arrangements: Book and manage flights accommodations transportation and other necessary tour arrangements for clients.
  • Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers to confirm bookings and ensure all logistical arrangements are in place.
Communication
  • Responsive Communication: Ensure prompt and professional communication with product managers throughout the tour planning process.
Administrative Support
  • Travel Documentation: Prepare and distribute travel documents including tickets vouchers and itineraries.
  • Financial Management: Manage travel expenses closely work with the finance department to ensure payments are processed timeously and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on tour operations and client feedback as required.
Operational Efficiency
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on travel regulations industry trends and emerging technologies to optimize tour operations.
Team Collaboration
  • Interdepartmental Liaison: Work closely with other departments (e.g. marketing operations finance) to ensure cohesive tour planning and .

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Tourism Travel Office Administration or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the tourism industry preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure independently and flexibility to adapt to changing travel schedules.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Fluency in German would be a significant advantage (but not a requirement)
  • InOffice Requirement: The Tour Administrator will be required to work from our office location in Atlas Gardens Business Park Contermanskloof Cape Town. This position does not offer remote or flexible work arrangements.
