Job Description
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Invoicing Department
- Oversee the invoicing of international and production stock
- Ensure accurate stocking and final invoicing
- Uphold Browns final quality standards for all stock processed
2. Stones Department
- Manage the receipt verification and stocking of purchased stones
- Allocate stones to production in line with Bills of Materials
3. Treasury Department
- Coordinate the dispatch and splitting of stock per company requirements
- Take full ownership of all incoming and outgoing stock including dispatch instructions
- Serve as custodian of physical stock and system stock locations including stones
4. Stock Queries Department
- Oversee stock recalls as directed
- Resolve all stockrelated queries including variances
5. Ad Hoc Responsibilities
- Identify and drive efficiency projects including Business Intelligence and CRM initiatives
- Apply sound business acumen and proactive problemsolving to departmental challenges
Requirements
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Zoho systems (advantageous)
- Solid understanding of financial principles and inventory processes
- Selfmotivated with strong time management and accountability
- Ability to anticipate and mitigate operational issues
- Knowledge of stones or precious metals is advantageous
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Finance or a related field (Business preferred)
- Project Management certification or similar (advantageous)
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience with at least 3 years in a management role
- Prior exposure to highvalue stock environments is ideal
