Revive Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded engineering firm to find a skilled Structural Engineer with a passion for infrastructure analysis and design. This is an exciting opportunity to work on highimpact bridge and transportation projects with a collaborative and forwardthinking team.
What youll do:
Perform nonlinear analysis on existing suspension bridges
Develop 3D finite element models from design drawings
Conduct influence line analysis and identify worstcase load effects
Write custom code to determine global live load patterns
Perform load rating using AASHTO LRFD AASHTO MBE and other manuals
Analyze structural capacity of trusses gusset plates and RC components
Design and detail RC culverts footings and retaining walls
Conduct cost estimation and quantity takeoffs for railway bridge projects
Evaluate structural stability including corrosionimpacted piers
What Youll Have:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or Bridge and Tunnel Engineering
3 years of experience in bridge or structural engineering (longspan bridge experience is a plus)
Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD and AASHTO MBE design and rating methodologies
Handson experience with 3D modeling software (e.g. SAP2000 MIDAS Civil or similar)
Ability to perform nonlinear analysis and influence line evaluations
Familiarity with structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete components
Skilled in developing or modifying scripts or code (e.g. MATLAB Python) to support engineering tasks
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Excellent communication and documentation skills
EIT certification required; P.E. license preferred or willingness to obtain
