Job Description

The Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC is seeking a general neurologist with an interest in cognitive disorders to join our growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide highquality clinical care while working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to cognitive neurology. Position Highlights:Outpatient general neurology role with a focus on cognitive disordersCollaborative environment with neurologists neuropsychologists geriatricians psychiatrists social workers and allied support staffOpportunity for academic engagement with a faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of MedicineTeaching opportunities with neurology residents and medical studentsResearch involvement is encouraged but not required with dedicated research support availableWhat We Offer:Competitive guaranteed base salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including signon and relocation assistanceFour 4 weeks of paid vacation per yearTwo to four 24 additional paid weeks for CME activities per yearH1B visa sponsorship available if applicableUniversity of Pittsburgh School of Medicine faculty appointment based on experienceQualifications:MD or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in NeurologyEligible for unrestricted medical licensure in PennsylvaniaStrong clinical skills and interest in cognitive disorders
