Job Description
Description of the Role
The Title Clerk position at the Doug Smith Dealerships is integral to our team. As a Title Clerk you will be responsible for processing and managing all vehicle title paperwork. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation.
Responsibilities
- Process and submit vehicle title applications to the appropriate agencies
- Verify and review all title documents for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to resolve any title discrepancies or issues
- Maintain accurate records of all title transactions and related documentation
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely and efficient title processing for vehicle sales
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Title Clerk or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficient computer skills including experience with title processing software Dealer Management Systems and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent organizational and management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
