Tell us about the unit(s):Number of Beds 16 operating roomsNumber of Staff 53 total staffType of staff: Director Charge RN Open Heart OR RN surgeons anesthesiologists CNAs LPNsDay Shift Director 13 teams total 15 RNs and 15 techsNight Shift Same as long as volume mostly oncall they work up on 9:30pPatient Ratios 1:1 2:1 3:1 varies depending on volumeType of equipment sterile accessories circulator sponges gowning gloving tubing cords cutsEMR MeditechMust have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the & ACLS required for OR RN &Certified Surgical Technician certification BLSStrong ortho neuro and robotics experience must be willing to float to general OROR RNs MUST be able to circulate and scrubMeditech experience is HIGHLY preferredPreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered Vinci experience and scrubbingMust have 2 years current experience in an acute hospital setting not a surgical centerList typical procedures performed on unit(s): Prepare operating room arrange equipment assist doctors during surgeries Inspect maintain decontaminate and repair surgical equipment keeping inventory records pre and postsurgical repair including shaving transporting and applying dressingsBest personality Fit:Extroversion agreeableness conscientiousness openness critical thinkerRelatable dependable and easily adapting to Awards/Recognition: 417 bed facility $90 million in new upgrades new patient tower new 4 story parking garage and adding capacity for OR ICU and ER bedsCertified comprehensive Stroke Center American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award
