Power BI Specialist/Trainer
We are currently hiring a Power BI Specialist to join our corporate team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and visualization with extensive experience in Power BI. You will be involved in creating maintaining and optimizing interactive dashboards and reports to support datadriven decisionmaking across the organization.
Location
This can be a fully remote position or the candidate can be located in one of our offices either full time or in a hybrid role.
The Impact You Will Have
- Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
- Ensure data models are optimized for performance and usability.
- Communicate project status cost performance and schedule updates to stakeholders facilitating informed decision making.
- Implement integrated project controls methodologies to effectively align cost and schedule management efforts.
- Attend a variety of project meetings with project stakeholders to track and solve cost and schedule management issues.
- Manage change order processes and assess impacts on project costs and schedules.
- Participate in development of project estimates budgets forecasts estimates to complete and cost trends.
- Work under the direction of the Corporate Innovation team on a variety of corporate application projects and engineering consultant support projects.
- Other tasks as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- B.S. degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics or a related field.
- 3 years of experience working with Power BI required.
- Strong proficiency in DAX Power Query and M language. Experience with SQL and data modeling required.
- Excellent communication and intrapersonal skills.
- Willingness to train and guide others in the use of Power BI.
- Strong organization and ability to perform services efficiently and within budgets and schedules.
- Willingness to be flexible with variable work shifts during the work week.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the State of Illinois Pay Transparency Act Illinois Pay Transparency Law. The final agreedupon compensation is based on numerous factors including but not limited to individual education qualifications prior work experience and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary overtime and bonuses.
