Job Summary The Education and Prevention Youth Coordinator leads the organizations efforts to provide traumainformed education prevention and outreach programs focused on domestic violence sexual and healthy relationships specifically with youth populations. This position is responsible for delivering culturally responsive content managing prevention initiatives and supervising Camp HOPE Unit Directors. The Coordinator plays a key role in the coordination of Camp HOPE and Pathways to HOPE two signature youth empowerment programs supporting healing and leadership development for children and teens impacted by trauma. The Coordinator also oversees implementation of Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM) and Athletes As Leaders (AAL) two schoolbased prevention programs aimed at promoting respectful nonviolent behavior among student athletes. Key Responsibilities 1. YouthFocused Community Education & Program Implementation - Develop and implement youthcentered prevention and education strategies aligned with the organizations mission.
- Maintain an annual training and outreach calendar that includes school presentations youth workshops and collaborative events with community partners.
- Design and facilitate traumainformed culturally responsive programming that promotes resilience healthy relationships and violence prevention.
- Lead schoolbased implementation of Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM) and Athletes As Leaders (AAL) working closely with coaches athletic departments and student athletes to deliver engaging genderresponsive programming.
- Incorporate evidencebased practices and regularly update curricula to reflect current research and youth needs.
2. Supervision & Team Development - Supervise and support Camp HOPE Unit Directors in planning and delivering highquality engaging youth experiences.
- Coordinate with facilitators educators volunteers and interns involved in education and prevention efforts.
- Foster a collaborative inclusive work environment that emphasizes growth accountability and innovation.
- Ensure alignment between youth programming and broader organizational education goals.
3. Community Engagement & Training - Deliver youth and parent trainings workshops and prevention presentations across schools youthserving agencies and community events.
- Tailor curriculum and approach based on audience needs including educators caregivers and systeminvolved youth.
- Develop and sustain strong partnerships with local schools community organizations athletic programs and youth coalitions.
- Represent the organization at youthfocused community events panels and outreach initiatives.
4. Program Oversight: Camp HOPE & Pathways to HOPE - Lead coordination and implementation of Camp HOPE a traumainformed summer camp for youth impacted by DV and SA.
- Manage logistics including recruitment staff onboarding curriculum delivery and camp operations in collaboration with Unit Directors and volunteers.
- Oversee Pathways to HOPE a yearround mentorship and youth engagement program ensuring consistent delivery of monthly activities and leadership development opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support to youth participants and alumni to foster continued healing empowerment and connection.
5. Evaluation and Reporting - Develop and implement evaluation tools to measure the impact of youth education and prevention programs including CBIM and AAL.
- Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness quality and reach.
- Prepare reports for internal leadership funders and stakeholders that highlight youth impact and outcomes.
- Use evaluation results to drive program improvements and align activities with funding priorities.
6. Budget & Resource Management - Monitor budgets for education and youth programs ensuring resources are used efficiently and in accordance with grant guidelines.
- Support grant writing efforts by contributing youthfocused content data and program narratives.
- Coordinate educational materials supplies and outreach tools needed to support engaging traumainformed youth programs.
