SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER SIGNALING As a Senior System Engineer for Stadler USs Signaling Division you will be responsible for the design development and integration of our advanced rail signaling systems including CBTC (CommunicationsBased Train Control) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) technologies. In this role you will ensure that our signaling systems meet the highest standards of safety reliability and performance while also satisfying customer requirements and industry regulations. Your expertise in systems engineering coupled with your understanding of rail signaling technologies such as Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) or Data Communication Subsystem (DCS) will be essential in delivering worldclass solutions that drive the future of rail transportation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Lead the systems engineering process for rail signaling projects from concept development through design implementation and validation. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure system components are designed and developed according to the overall system architecture and customer requirements. Develop and execute system integration and testing strategies ensuring that all system components work together seamlessly and meet the required performance and safety criteria. Manage hardware and software system interfaces both internal and external ensuring the signaling system integrates effectively with other subsystems such as rolling stock wayside equipment and control centers. Participate in design reviews safety assessments and quality assurance activities providing systems engineering expertise and guidance. Identify and manage systemlevel risks develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure project success. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior systems engineers fostering a culture of innovation excellence and continuous improvement. Stay current with emerging trends technologies and best practices in systems engineering and rail signaling and apply them to advance Stadler USs signaling solutions. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors or Masters degree in Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field with a focus on rail signaling systems At least 7 years of experience in systems engineering with a strong track record of delivering complex rail signaling projects. Strong knowledge of rail signaling technologies particularly CBTC SCADA ATS and DCS systems and their application in various project scenarios. Familiarity with relevant industry standards regulations and safety requirements such as EN 50126 EN 50128 EN 50129 and CENELEC standards. Detailoriented and qualityfocused with a commitment to delivering safe reliable and highperformance signaling systems.
