Job Description
BHS SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST/COUNSELOR ESY PROGRAM
POSITION OVERVIEW
To plan and provide instruction/counseling to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY) per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Planning for instruction/counseling of students to maintain skills information or behaviors per IEP
- Facilitate student socialemotional learning in the classroom for all BHS programs
- Coordination of related service and service only student support
- Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers
- Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
QUALIFICATIONSPREFERRED
- Mass DESE Licensure required
- Experience with students with emotional and/or behavioral needs
- Experience with students with autism
- Experience with postsecondary students
SCHEDULE
- July 7 2025 August 14 2025
- 9:00 2:00 Monday Thursday
- Additional 2 days of training prior to start of program
- Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
