Overview:
The Custodian keeps the school building and school offices in clean orderly and sanitary condition. As needed the custodian moves furniture and equipment and provides setup and takedown for school related activities and events. Custodians also maintain a watchful eye over outside doors to ensure appropriate operation. Custodians are responsible for noting and reporting building issues requiring maintenance or repair.
Education Required:
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
