Job Description
Overview
The Data Analytics Intern will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their data needs and delivering solutions that enhance operational efficiency and strategic planning. Activities will include data collection cleaning analysis visualization and reporting. Other responsibilities will include maintaining data integrity developing data models and supporting the implementation of datadriven strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends patterns and insights.
- Develop and maintain data models and dashboards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide regular reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend datadriven solutions.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing bachelors or masters degree in data science statistics computer science or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL Python R and Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experienced in six sigma/operational excellence methodologies.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Familiarity with QuickBase.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
