Job Description
Regions Hospital is seeking a Sr. Medical Assistant with knowledge of basic patient care and routine medical physical and developmental teststo join our Lakeview Clinic team. This is a per diem position and will be picking up shifts MondayFriday between the hours of 7am5pm.
In this position you will perform designated duties relating to patient diagnosis and treatment based on the agespecific needs of the adolescent and patient population served; to assist doctors and nurses in a clinic setting in the provision of general health care; to coordinate clinic specific functions; to monitor and order needed supplies for the clinic to act as back up position to the front/back desk area work with computer software database programs and to perform related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
- Six months experience in specialty area (e.g. Oncology Medicine).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of medical assistant experience.
- Medical Assistant Certification
