Job Overview
The Nutrition Manager will oversee the development and implementation of nutrition programs and policies. This role is based in Bengaluru Karnataka India and is a fulltime position. We are seeking a candidate with 4 to 6 years of midlevel experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree or higher in Nutrition Dietetics or related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a midlevel nutrition role with a proven track record of program development and implementation.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition science food safety and dietary guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing a team.
- Ability to analyze data identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
- Proficiency in nutrition assessment counseling and meal planning.
- Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in nutrition programs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement nutrition programs and initiatives to promote healthy eating habits and improve overall nutritional status.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide nutritional counseling and guidance to individuals groups and communities taking into account their specific needs and goals.
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and apply this knowledge to enhance program strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and organizations to integrate nutrition services into existing healthcare programs.
- Manage a team of nutritionists and dietitians providing leadership and guidance to ensure that program goals are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as food suppliers and community organizations to support program objectives.
- Prepare and present reports on program activities outcomes and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines maintaining the highest level of quality and safety in nutrition services.
