We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled ESG Controller to join our team. As part of the ESG Team in Warsaw you will work closely with ESG Finance Team in the headquarter in Denmark and support this team in the implementation of our companys sustainability strategy and ensuring compliance with nonfinancial reporting requirements.

Your responsibilities

  • Sharing responsibility for continuously automating and optimising our ESG reporting processes as well as the controlling framework
  • Collecting analysing and reviewing reporting and controls
  • Participating in monthly/quarterly reporting to Group Management and Holding Company
  • Together with the ESG Finance Team in Denmark preparing the organization for meeting legal obligations related to nonfinancial reporting
  • Support and advise stakeholders and local business units responsible for ESG reporting
  • Working closely with external auditors and assisting the organisation in preparing for audit
  • Collaboration and coordination with the Group Sustainability Team
  • Supporting the implementation of the companys sustainability strategy
  • Collecting and analyzing the necessary qualitative data for report creation

Your qualifications

  • Masters degree in a relevant field such as economics finance/accounting or business administration
  • At least 2 years of experience with ESG reporting
  • Extensive (at least 5 years) experience with controlling data analysis and financial audit (as an audit team member or collaborating with auditors)
  • Great IT skills and capability to learn digital tools swiftly: advanced proficiency in Excel experience with SAP and consolidation tools is beneficial
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • High communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of ESG regulations and nonfinancial reporting standards
  • Analytical skills and ability to work with complex data sets
  • Experience in preparing reports presentations and working with crossfunctional teams
  • Ability to stay up to date with market trends and regulatory changes
