Team Member Active Engagement IT
Working Pattern Hybrid 2days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office.Full time 35 hours per week.

As an Associate Front End Engineer you will undertake training and develop skills on the job. In this role you will spend a substantial portion of time shadowing others and working with other engineers to write code and tests. You will write code that follows web standards build your understanding of accessibility and continuously expand your knowledge.
Key Actions
- Write clean accessible code that is easy to maintain and reuse following web standards and a progressive enhancement approach.
- Design software that meets user needs and fosters meaningful interactions and relationships with users.
- Understand and implement the three fundamental frontend technologies: HTML CSS and JavaScript as well as modern frontend frameworks such as React and Astro.
- Research alternative technologies to support user journeys and help define new processes.
- Spend a portion of time shadowing others.
- Work with other engineers to write code and tests.
- Write code that follows web standards.
- Build your understanding of accessibility.
- Develop software that meets user needs.

- HTML CSS and JavaScript: Proficiency in these fundamental frontend technologies.
- Communication: Clearly convey ideas and understand stakeholder needs. Participate effectively in multidisciplinary discussions.
