The Regulatory Affairs Officerwill stay updated on national/EU regulatory developments and prepare relevant reports. He/she will identify regulatory barriers or opportunities relevant to the company and assess the potential impact of anticipated policy developments. The role will also participate in advocacy efforts to influence the design of energyrelated policies and regulations and will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive record of documents/communications.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Regulatory Developments: Track and analyze regulatory updates in Greece and the EU for gas and power markets.
- Anticipate impacts provide timely internal reporting and address regulatory technological and market barriers.
- Public Consultation Contributions: Identify relevant public consultations coordinate input from divisions and ensure timely submission of responses.
- Support EULevel engagement: Assist in the companys participation in EU regulatory discussions.
- Liaise with Regulatory Authorities: Handle communications with regulatory bodies and support submission of required reports.
- Regulatory Reporting and Documentation: Prepare monthly regulatory reports and maintain comprehensive departmental records.
- Support Regulatory Strategy Development: Assist in drafting and updating the companys longterm regulatory strategy.
- Prepare policy briefs presentations and internal communication materials.
- Support licensing procedures required for utility operations.
- Propose and support improvements in the departments processes and operational practices.
Requirements - BSc in Engineering.
- MSc in Energy Energy Economics or Law Policy MBA will be considered an asset.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience including experience in liberalized energy markets operation and extensive understanding of the energy regulatory environment (national and EU).
- Advanced level of English.
- Knowledge in MS Office Data analysis tools database management.
- Technical regulatory and interpersonal skills to navigate sectors complexity.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

- An indepth understanding of energy sector regulations.
