Suburban Connect is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and driven professionals for the role of Safety the Suburban Rail Loop Authority Project. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team responsible for delivering one of Victorias largest and most transformative infrastructure projects connecting suburban communities and enhancing accessibility through an integrated transport system.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Attend meetings to provide advice & guidance in respect of all OHS matters as follows:
- Team meeting (weekly)
- Tender Review meetings (as required)
- Safety Team meetings (weekly)
- Risk Workshops (as scheduled)
- Health & Safety Committee meetings (monthly)
- Manage and lead weekly Safety Inspections to include the organisation completion of records and follow through on actions arising
- Coordinate the review process of Safe Work Method Statements
- Review Contractor Safety Management Plans to ensure conformance to requirements
- Plant Assessments to include the undertaking of assessments and the compilation of records in accordance with statutory and requirements
- Participate in investigations into all accidents/incidents to include the compilation and submission/presentation of appropriate reports
- Undertake regular Task Observations on all construction activities to include checking of work against Permits/SWMS.
- Assist in the delivery of Toolbox Talks ensuring the quality of content & delivery
- Assist in the delivery of Daily Prestarts
- Assist in the compilation of data/evidence to facilitate timely monthly reporting
