TheHuman Resources Generalist will support various HR tasks such as organizingemployee training administering employee benefits employee engagement anddrafting HR policies and practices. The goal is to ensure the HR departmentsoperations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to theorganization. You will be the positive professional impression of theorganization for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists Human Resources Sr. Manager with administrative tasksrelated to routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department andCorporate Services.
- Performs routine tasks required toadminister and execute human resource programs including but not limited tocompensation benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes andinvestigations; performance and talent management; productivity recognitionand morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Maintain compliance with federal stateand local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices;review policies and practices to maintain compliance; maintain knowledge oftrends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in humanresources talent management and employment law; brings innovative ideas tothe table.
- Partners with HR Sr. Mgr. in developingworkplace initiatives to support our growing company.
- Performs customer service functions by responding to andresolving administrative inquiries and questions.
- Completes Forms I9 verifies I9 documentation and maintainsI9 files.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibilityverifications.
- Assists with the preparation and distribution of the performancereview process.
- Contributes to the development andimplementation of HR policies and procedures that support engagement andoverall employee satisfaction.
- Leads new hire onboarding program including performingorientation.
- Handles employmentrelated inquiries fromapplicants referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Sr. Mgr.
- Maintains corporate job descriptions.
- Assists HR Manager with performance management including annual performance reviews new hire reviews and PIPs. Coach managers on employee feedback.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings terminations and investigations with the oversight of the HR Sr. Manager.
- Gathers and analyze data with useful HR metrics like time to hire and employee turnover rates. Provide recommendations to HR Sr. Mgr.
- Assists with internal HR Communication as necessary.
- Shared responsibility with HR Coordinator: Perform administrative duties such as managing office supply procurement and placing orders as necessary stocking the kitchen scheduling meetings and coordinating HR events and onsite visitors
- Prepares payment summary forms.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications andEducation:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration orrelated field required.
- 3years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Experiencewith ADP Workforce Now
