• Ensure manufacturing operating system standards are applied and standardized throughout the area.
• Create and coordinate work plans to ensure the team is maintaining production flow.
• Promote support and coach a continuous improvement mindset and activities in the team.
• Achieve business results by delivery of key performance indicators to ensure objectives are met.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
• Motivate teams by leveraging technology and bestinclass manufacturing systems.
• Mentor nurture and develop teams to own working together modeling the values and expected behaviors.
• Support teams by removing barriers to their success and developing their knowledge skills and abilities.
• Lead change efforts to construct and achieve manufacturing standards.
• Demonstrate empathy and embrace Gemba philosophy by engaging regularly with employees in production environments to listen and problem solve.
• Champion the formation of the culture required to achieve the Vision Mission and Values to deliver performance objectives.
• Enable a culture of learning through demonstration of effective communication skills.

Youll have...

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years ofmanufacturing engineering or operations experience in leadership roles.
• Ability to travel extensively.

Even better you may have...

• Masters Degree.
• 5 years of battery cell related manufacturing experience.
• 5 years of managerial experience leading teams.
• Experience succeeding in high levels of complexity exposure to multiple business issues ambiguity and conflict.

This position is a leadership level 6.

Once your employment with Ford commences you will be assigned to BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC. You will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work for BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC a Ford wholly owned subsidiary located in Marshall Michigan. You will remain an atwill employee at all times during your employment with Ford or any Ford affiliate or subsidiary with which you later become employed.
