Job Description
Irrigation & Landscaping Manager
The Irrigation Manager will be responsible for the design installation maintenance and repair of irrigation systems for parks and commercial properties. The specialist will ensure the proper functioning of irrigation systems and promote efficient water usage in compliance with local regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of irrigation techniques systems equipment and landscape irrigation principles.
- Design and Installation:
- Conduct site evaluations to assess irrigation system requirements.
- Design efficient and sustainable irrigation systems based on project specifications and site conditions.
- Install and program irrigation controllers valves pipes and sprinkler heads.
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to coordinate irrigation installations with landscape design plans.

- Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems to identify leaks clogs or malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system components including valves sprinkler heads controllers and pipes.
- Adjust watering schedules and irrigation zones based on seasonal needs and water conservation goals.
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal water distribution and plant health.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems to identify leaks clogs or malfunctions.
- Water Management and Conservation:
- Stay updated on local water regulations restrictions and best practices related to irrigation.
- Implement watersaving techniques and technologies to improve system efficiency.
- Advise clients on water conservation practices and provide recommendations for sustainable landscape irrigation.
- Conduct water audits and recommend improvements to optimize water usage and reduce waste.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or vocational training in irrigation systems is preferred.
