Job Description

Position Information

Examinations:
Appraisal (Weight 100: Will be conducted for the purpose of appraising the applicants training education experience interest and personal fitness for the position. Appraisal can be based on any of the following: investigation oral examination and/or review of application.

Should an oral exam be necessary the oral exam will be weighted 100

Applicants must attain at least a 70 score on each phase of the examination process.

Minimum Qualifications / Employment Standards:
High School Diploma G.E.D. or equivalent and three years experience in the repair and maintenance of heating ventilating air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Possession of a universal technician certificate for refrigerant transition and recovery from a program approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is required.

Possession of a valid Class C California Drivers License prior to the time of appointment is required.
