The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy leverage IT investments and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts IT helps to improve the competitive position of Cornings businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications infrastructure and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
Job Location:Baner Pune
Scope of Position:
- Lead data migration team for a deployment project or multiple projects.
- Provide leadership to data migration team to deliver seamless data migration from legacy (multiple) to S/4 HANA.
- Work with PMO and other teams needed to support data loads and cutover.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in delivering complex data management engagements including all phases of project life cycle from scoping and planning requirements gathering design development testing and go live phases.
- Expertise in Cutover Planning Project Planning and Project Design.
- Experience with Data Migrations from Peoplesoft ECC or any legacy sources to the target S/4 HANA target systems using Syniti ADM/BODS tool.
- SAP Hana Data Migration Knowledge Functional and Technical understanding of workstreams in SAP Process Areas (OTC PTP RTP and RTR).
- Experience driving the ETL (Data Migration Cockpit / LSMW (Legacy System Workbench) support process and ensure compliance of project standards and deliverables.
- Creation of migration functional and technical designs and build SAP Data solutions.
- Demonstrate thought leadership & drive decision making.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with global teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore.
- Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment including global projects handling and collaboration with global team.
- In depth understanding of sequential or parallel data loads and dependencies based on SAP system constraints.
Education and Experience:
- At least 8 years of handson experience in SAP Data Migration including extensive experience in large transformation programs.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience).
Required Skills:
- SAP S/4 or ECC data migration experience
- Working with global and cross functional teams both from business and technical side
- Excellent communication skill (Written & Verbal)
- Microsoft Office
- Syniti ADM
- SQL Server
