The Opportunity
The (Senior) Director M&A Integration is responsible for leading the endtoend integration of acquired companies into the Roche/ Genentech organization on the Pharma side. This role involves managing sophisticated integration projects coordinating crossfunctional teams and ensuring that all aspects of the merger or acquisition are driven seamlessly. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in M&A integrations outstanding project management and IT skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments and senior leadership. The selected candidate will work functionally with the M&A Head of Integrations (Pharma) and RealEstate Transactions (I&RE) and reports to the Global Head of Alliance and Asset Management.
Integration Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement structured integration processes and playbooks.
Project Leadership: Lead crossfunctional teams to implement integration activities efficiently.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for integrationrelated communications.
Change Management: Partner with People & Culture (P&C) to support smooth employee transitions.
Financial & Risk Management: Supervise financial targets and proactively identify integration risks.
Who You Are
With a strong academic background you hold a Masters degree or equivalent experience in Business Finance or a Sciencerelated field. This foundation has equipped you with the strategic and analytical skills crucial for success in M&A integrations. Demonstrating at least 7 years of confirmed experience in M&A and/or Business Development (BD) you have a consistent record of successfully leading and driving complex integration initiatives within corporate environments.
Project Management: Proven track record in leading complex crossfunctional projects.
IT & Digital Transformation: Strong background in IT systems and digital transformation.
Leadership & Communication: Outstanding stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
Industry Expertise: Experience in the Pharma drug development process.
