Under the supervision of the Team Leader the primary duty of the Skills Trainer1 is responsible for helping participants achieve the goals and objectives outlined in Individualized Support Plans (ISP) Behavior Management Guidelines (BMGs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). General Responsibilities:Ensure the supervision and safety of assigned participantsComplete highquality work with minimal and be familiar with the guidelines in the Employee and be familiar with the guidelines in the Parent with HIPAA and FERPA program participants and staff in Crossroads Continuum vehicles as needed. (During program hours only)Complete the RBT training program within 90 days. Start the process of taking the Registered Behavior Technician exam within six months of employment. Perform other duties as Care Respnsibilities:Aid in daily living activities including selfcare and hygiene food shopping and preparation budgeting leisure activities and social individuals in accessing the community safely and as independently as and implement social groups. Case Management Responsibilities:Provide case management up to three clientsMaintain case clientss program book per case clientss program book per new ISP within 5 program days of it being materials for case clients as needed Update/create curriculum sheets as behavior data sheets as Behavior Management Guidelines as assigned by the Program case clients electronic files per and enter data program participants progress and immediately alert the Team Leader of needed changes. Assist the Team Leader in program development and parent concerns immediately to the Team Leader and Program ManagerComplete endofday tidying responsibilities of case clients materials and the program rooms. Communication:Follow lines of communication specified in the Organizational relevant information with colleagues and questions when something is unknown or recognize the accomplishments and contributions of performance feedback and respond to email confidentiality and maintain a high standard of support for Crossroads as an ambassador for Crossroads Participation and Timeliness:Demonstrate punctuality and an appropriate attendance timecards according to assigned deadlines with minimal and actively participate in Crossroads Continuum events (e.g. Open House Annual 5K Walk/Run). Educational and Experiential Requirements:High School diploma required. Bachelors degree in education behavior analysis or related field preferred12 years of experience in the field of autism education or human services field preferredA valid drivers license acceptable driving record and reliable transportation is candidates will be required to complete a background check including references CORI and and Ability Requirements:Interest in building a career in nonprofit service for individuals with developmental compassionate hardworking and punctual. Proficient oral and written communication to work independently and as a member of a to multitask and prioritize to meet in computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel and to pass a background checkPhysical Requirements:The ability to move quickly and confidently to intervene when protective holds and/or movements are ability to pursue a bolting ability to successfully complete Safety Care trainingAbility to physically work with the client (may involve running squatting lifting prompting and physical management)
