Job Description
SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans instruct students evaluate and monitor students performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity.
Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate with Middle Grades General Science OR General Science Approved Areawith Spanish Bilingual Endorsement
OR
Arizona Middle Grades Certificate with Middle Grades General Science OR General Science Approved Areawith Spanish Bilingual Endorsement
OR
ArizonaSecondary Certificate withMiddle Grades General Science General Science Physical Science Biology Chemistry or Physics Approved Areawith Spanish Bilingual Endorsement
OR
Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 612 with General Science Physical Science Biology Chemistry or Physics Approved Areawith Spanish Bilingual Endorsement
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.
COMMENTS
Effective:SCHOOL YEAR
Location:Roskruge K8 6th Street & Euclid areas
FTE: 1.0 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

New Teachers to the District may be eligible for a onetime recruitment stipend (up to $5000 if hired into one of the following positions: Ex Ed Math Science.
Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
