Job Summary:

The SQL Analyst is responsible for designing developing and maintaining database solutions that support business applications and analytics. The role involves writing efficient SQL queries optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity across various systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL Server MySQL or Oracle databases and expertise in stored procedures triggers indexing and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Development & Management:

• Design develop and maintain SQL databases ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Write complex SQL queries stored procedures functions triggers and views for data processing.
• Implement ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes for data integration between different systems.
• Perform database tuning and query optimization to enhance performance.

Data Integrity & Security:

• Ensure data accuracy consistency and security across all database systems.
• Implement rolebased access control (RBAC) and database security best practices.
• Monitor and resolve data integrity issues by analyzing logs and error reports.

Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:

• Identify and resolve database performance issues including indexing and partitioning.
• Conduct SQL performance tuning using plans and profiling tools.
• Troubleshoot databaserelated issues and provide technical support to application teams.

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with software developers business analysts and data analysts to define database requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database structures queries and processes.
• Support database migrations upgrades and backup strategies to ensure high availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 years of experience as an SQL Developer with expertise in relational databases.
• Proficiency in SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL or Oracle databases.
• Strong experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries stored procedures and functions.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
• Handson experience with indexing query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with SSIS SSRS Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB Cassandra) is a plus.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft SQL Server Certification (MCSA/MCSE) or Oracle Certified SQL Developer.
• Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS Azure SQL Google Cloud SQL).
• Knowledge of big data technologies and data warehousing concepts.
• Exposure to Agile development and DevOps practices.
