Position Description:

Required Qualifications:

5 to 8 years of experience in network engineering or network security with a focus on cloud security solutions.
Handson experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX).
Strong understanding of network security protocols firewalls VPNs SDWAN and Zero Trust network access.
Expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing network security tools and configurations.
Indepth knowledge of TCP/IP DNS HTTP/S routing and switching concepts.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and SaaS integrations.
Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python Bash PowerShell etc. is a plus.


Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer (Network Security / SASE) 58 Years ExperienceJob Overview: We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with 58 years of experience in network security firewall technologies VPNs (including Ivanti Connect Secure) and secure network design. This role will involve leading the architecture and deployment of advanced network security solutions including Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls firewall clusters and GRE tunnel configurations. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in cloud security and SASE technologies and while Zscaler is a consideration the focus will be on broader network security Responsibilities:Network Security Architecture & Design:o Lead the design and deployment of Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls in enterprise environments ensuring high availability and optimal network security through firewall clusters and GRE tunnels.o Architect secure scalable network infrastructures that integrate network security policies secure remote access and cloud connectivity for largescale organizations.o Design and deploy advanced VPN solutions including Ivanti Connect Secure IPsec SSL VPNs and GRE tunnels to ensure secure communication across multisite Security & SASE Solutions:oImplement and optimize cloudbased security and SASE solutions ensuring secure and efficient access to cloud applications and with clients to design SASE solutions that combine secure web access SDWAN and Zero Trust architecture to ensure continuous secure access to cloud multiple security technologies including Zscaler and others to provide flexible and resilient security Troubleshooting & Optimization:oTroubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues including those related to firewalls VPNs (Ivanti Connect Secure IPSec etc. GRE tunnels and cloud insights into performance optimization including traffic inspection load balancing and security policy that network security configurations are optimized for high availability performance and security while meeting compliance Leadership & Strategy:oServe as the senior technical advisor for key clients leading strategic discussions on network security architecture and cloud security technical workshops and training sessions to help clients maximize the value of their network security the of largescale security projects ensuring they are delivered on time and meet all technical & Knowledge Sharing:oMentor and guide junior engineers providing technical leadership and fostering professional growth within the informed about the latest trends in network security cloud security and SASE contributing to the development of internal best and Team Collaboration:oReport directly to the Team Lead providing progress updates key technical insights and project with the Team Lead to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines ensuring that the team is on track to meet project goals and customer :8 years of experience in network security including handson experience with Fortinet Palo Alto firewalls Ivanti Connect Secure VPN GRE tunnels firewall clusters and VPN knowledge of networking protocols and security technologies including cloud security and SASE platforms (Zscaler Fortinet Palo Alto ability to design and implement secure network infrastructures that integrate both onpremises and cloudbased security leadership and mentoring abilities with experience managing complex technical communication skills with the ability to interact with senior executives clients and internal teams.
