Job Description
The Julian Center is currently seeking a dedicated Nutrition and Wellness Aide to join our team. In this role youll be responsible for preparing and serving meals to both clients and staff ensuring adherence to strict health and safety standards set by the Board of Health and CACFP. Additionally youll assist the Nutrition and Wellness Team Leader with various tasks including vendor relations and managing special dietary needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment while also being capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Day in the Life:
As a Nutrition and Wellness Aide your day begins with meal preparation following established policies and procedures. Youll take care to arrange food and beverage items thoughtfully making them easily accessible to clients and staff members. Throughout the day youll serve meals promptly and maintain proper portion sizes and quality standards. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all food preparation and serving areas. Youll also assist with receiving deliveries and may be involved in training new team members as needed.
