Technical Specialist Machining 80100 (f/m/d)
Your daily contribution:
- Evaluate and develop potential suppliers for machined and subcontracted parts until handover to operational procurement
- Execute development purchase orders for pilot/test machined parts from external suppliers
- Provide technical support to suppliers on product and quality requirements during development
- Support and coach Purchasing and Subcontracting teams for machining and processing suppliers
- Lead or participate in vendor development projects for new and existing suppliers
- Offer technical support to various departments and BC Production network locations on machined partsrelated topics
- Ensure minimum quality requirements and coordinate technical escalations with suppliers
Your Profile:
- Extensive experience and/or education in parts production machining special processes and contract management
- Education as a machine mechanic/polymechanic or equivalent with production/manufacturing process engineering experience
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings and customer requirements
- Approximately 78 years of industryspecific experience including 23 years in manufacturing engineering and procurement
- SAP knowledge and preferred additional training in quality inspection and metalworking
- Excellent German skills fluency in English
- Readiness to travel
