The Opportunity at Komodo Health
The Analytics and Insights team at Komodo Health provides highquality analytics and thought partnership to answer our clients key business questions and ultimately serve our mission to reduce disease burden. In this role you will build analytics pipelines and tables and draw key insights from Komodo data and products as well as partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs with a goal to drive customer retention. You will also collaborate with internal teams to identify ways to enhance and scale our products and analytics offerings.
Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health you will have
- Delivered highvalue data analytics projects
- Effectively partnered with internal and external teams to translate client requirements into analytics to solve client needs leveraging Komodo data and products
- Acquired a thorough understanding of the Komodo Healthcare Map and how to apply it to answer critical healthcare questions
- Developed an understanding of patientlevel data and proficiency in our key offering areas including patient journey line of therapy HCP segmentation and market landscape assessments
- Identified and implemented ways to scale our solutions automate code and centralize complex logic for repeatability. Advocated for effective and consistent data science practices within the team
- Presented analytical results and insights to internal and external partners including technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Identified new features and areas of development for Komodo products
- Contributed to the growth and development of the team through the onboarding and training of new members
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
- Analytical mindset: You solve complex business problems with analytics
- Client serviceorientation: You understand client needs and how to develop solutions to address them
- Strong communication skills: You are comfortable presenting to stakeholders at all levels (technical and nontechnical) and distilling complex topics and analyses into easytofollow and compelling narratives
- Healthcare or other related experience: You are familiar with life sciences needs such as patient journey analytics HCP engagement and segmentation and market landscape assessments
- Datadriven mindset: You are able to dig into the data both within Komodos Healthcare Map and across external data sources that we receive from partners and customers to synthesize insights
- Problemsolving skills: You demonstrate strong logical thinking and an ability to see patterns
- Partnership mentality: You effectively collaborate with data science account managers sales product and clients to guide analyses synthesize results and share feedback
- Curiosity: You demonstrate an interest and aptitude for constant learning and regularly seek and welcome feedback and help from colleagues
- Flexible attitude: You adapt to changing environments and solve problems from new angles; you know how to manage ambiguity
- Proficiency in quantitative reasoning: You understand the basics of data science and classical statistics and can use that knowledge to scope out a client solution
- Consultative mindset: You identify and proactively offer recommendations based on observed insights
- You must have: at least three years of industry experience working with largescale databases and leveraging Python and SQL (notably Snowflake for data querying cleaning and transformation); advanced Excel skills; experience translating analytic insights into PowerPoint or dashboards; prior life sciences or other healthcare experience analyzing claims data to inform business decisions
Additional skills and experience wed prioritize (nice to have)
- Familiarity with PySpark and R; proficient with complex topics in ML modeling and software packages advanced statistics/biostatistics algorithm design

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple businessrelated factors when determining compensation including jobrelated skills work experience geographic work location relevant training and certifications business needs and market demands.
The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition this role is eligible for benefits including but not limited to comprehensive health dental and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy.
